The past few months I have been struggling with finding motivation, enjoyment and meaning to my everyday life. I found myself going through motions and not focusing on experiences in the moment. Whether it be how I’m feeling, what I’m doing or what I’m seeing. I don’t think this is an uncommon thing to experience, but that doesn’t take away from how mentally, emotionally and physically draining it can be.
Today, I wanted to dedicate my energy to looking for all of the good things that are happening right now. I do this from time to time, but I also do the opposite of this often. Turning to the positive things going on in the moment is something that I want to naturally bring into my daily routine.
There really are good things always happening everyday! I struggle with anxiety and this effects me in many different ways. One thing I tend to do is think of the worst case scenario constantly. At times my bad and negative fears overpower the real, positive, ongoing moments. Instead of naturally always thinking of bad things that could happen, I want to train myself to naturally realize all of the great and amazing things are happening right now.

I know a lot of people also struggle with anxiety and I suggest that you also give this positive thought process a try! Anxiety can feel like your thoughts are eating you alive. Speaking kind and real things to yourself can be a helpful strategy to reroute yourself into the present and focus on the positive things that are going on in the moment. Even though some days are hard and stressful, do not forget to remind yourself of the wonderful and good things, because these things bring light to our everyday life!
I hope that this little message of mine was helpful to someone out there! This is a pretty simple strategy, but actively practicing this will truly uplift yourself more than you might think. Please leave me a comment about you or something good that is happening or has happened today! I would love to hear from you!
